Edging Closer to VVR Water Taxi

Quick Morning Dip in Lake VA
We get a nice easy start in the am after Elenas early morning bathe in the lake, flat then downhill through a beautiful gorge to Tully Hole and Fish Creek, which has no fish. Then it's 2000' uphill to Silver Pass and I somehow miscalculate the distance and it takes a long time to come.

We stop across a bridge for a snack, it's another great spot by the raging stream coming down the gorge, we sit and admire the view for a while, then more climbing up to 800' from the pass, bit tired so stop again by a lake for another snack and a wash to refresh us.

Beautiful Waters of Lake VA
There's a snow bank near the pass, we ascend and there's a guy admiring the view and very willing to help with photos so of course we take the opportunity.

Another snow bank just over the pass, amazing turquoise color with a snow bank to feed it, need to get a bit closer along the snow bank for a better shot. Silver Pass Lake is our spot for a late lunch, a swim and a nap.

It's a long down with some steep sections, there's a beautiful water slide descending hundreds of feet beside us to keep our company. We're trying to get as close as possible to the water taxi for tomorrow mornings 9:30am pickup to VVR, we stop at 1 spot that has a cupla friendly guys who invite us to stay, it may be a bit far and looks a bit buggy so we push on.

Another 30 minutes and past some other campers and we come to a nice looking spot, only .6 to the cutoff trail to the water taxi, there's a creek very close and we can camp right there, there are a lot of other tents around which we assume are folks also headed to the am taxi. The evening sunset lights up the Vermilion Cliffs for us.
